34、ened senses. 解析:選C 細(xì)節(jié)理解題。根據(jù)第一段第三句“At first, he had thought the world itself was changing. Then he had realized that it was just his feeling.”可知,不是世界變了,真正變了的是他自己的情感。 8.Why on earth did Spook start burning tin? A.To make himself strong. B.To erase an emotional debt. C.To show his honor to Vin. D.
35、To feel pain of his uncle. 解析:選B 推理判斷題。根據(jù)題中關(guān)鍵詞start burning tin定位到文中第二段,其中“Spook still felt terrible about the way hed escaped, leaving his uncle to die.”以及下一句“Spook had burned his metals as almost a selfpunishment”可知,Spook為自己的逃離感到難過(guò),將燃燒錫看作自我懲罰,這樣做是為了減輕情感上的負(fù)罪感。 9.What does the example of Vin serve
