本課是北師大版《初中英語》七年級下冊教材第四單元Unit 4 seasons and weather,話題為季節(jié)、天氣情況、天氣預報、旅行。其中Lesson 12 Summer Holiday 是圍繞旅行這一話題展開的。
第一課時通過閱讀,獲取David及其家人的假日旅行信息,同時了解一些國內(nèi)旅游勝地名稱。
第二課時通過感知課文中的be going to 句型,歸納總結(jié)be going to的語意功能,并完成肯定句、否定句、一般疑問句及特殊疑問句的

Show them the pictures to review and teach some phrase

Step 2. Warm-up
Q: If you go on a tour, where do you want to go?
Show them some pictures of the Great Wall, the Palace Museum etc. Some pictures to help the students focus on the key words in this lesson and the key points of the lesson.
Step 3. Pre-reading

2. Go over the questions and listen to the tape to get the answers.

Step 4. Reading
