Who are they? （展示 Eddie 和 Hobo ）的圖片Yes, they are Eddie and Hobo. Do you remember these two dogs?What does Eddie look like?Eddie is fat.Whats thepersonality of Eddie?He is lazy.Is Hobo lazy?No. Hobo is lovely and clever.T:These two dogs are our friends and have been with us for one year. But todaythey have a problem. Do you want to know what happened? Please look at this picture.Step 2 . presentationT: look at this picture, please. What can you find from this picture? Yes, we can find Eddie, Hobo and a fridge.Is there anything else in the fridge? 冰箱里有 西 ？No, there is nothing else in the fridge. 冰箱里什么也沒有But from this picture, they are looking for something else. What are they lookingfor?They are looking for some food or drinks.we can use another way to say:They want to have something to eat or drink.Why do they want to have something to eat or drink?Because they are hungry.T: What a pity! Can they solve this problem? Lets open our books on page 2, comic strip.T: please listen to the tape and read the dialogue after the tape. When you are reading, please think about these questions.1. What does Eddie give Hobo?2. Is there anything else in the fridge?3. What does Hobo want? Why?T: Have you got the answers? Lets do these questions together.1. What does Eddie give Hobo?Eddie give Hobo some milk and a cake.2. Is there anything else in the fridge? No, there is nothing else in the fridge.3. What does Hobo want? Why?Hobo wants to share Eddies pizza in the bowl.Because Hobo want to have some more food這.(里的 some more food意 再來些食物 )T: Good job! Now please read Eddie and Hobos coversation together. Boys read asEddie and girls read as Hobo. And then work in pairs and act the coversation out.T: Thank you for your shows! But I have another question to ask you: Will Eddie share the pizza with Hobo?Ok, different people may have different opinions ( 也 不同的人會有不同的想法 ), but I think Eddie will share his pizza with Hobo. Do you know why?T: So what can we learn about friends from this dialogue?T: Thats right. Friends can share things with each other. Can you tell me what the quality of a friend is (sharing)Good! But are there any other qualities of a good friend?T: Here is a questionnaire on Teenagersmagazine. Please work in a group of four and discuss the questions to find more qualities of your good friend. Congratulations to you if your answer are all “Yes”.T: Lets look at the questionnaire and discuss these questions together.1) Do you talk to your friend when you are happy.This quesiton wants to ask you Can your friend share your happy things?”If your answer is Yes. That means your friend can share your happy things. And we also can use another word to replace happy things : joy. Please read after meshare your joy.2) Do you talk to your friend when you are sad?This quesitons wants to know whether your friend can make you happy when you are sad.Please read after memake you happy3) Do you talk to your friend about anythig.If you can talk to your friend about anything. That means your friend can keep secrets. (這里 keep secrets意思是保守秘密 )Please read after me: keep secrets.Next one. 4) Do you talk to your friend when you have a problem?This question mean when you have a problem, your friend can help you. And If your friend often helps you when you have a problem. That means your friend is helpful?Please read after me: be helpfulthe last one. 5) Do you believe (相信 ) what your friend says?If you believe what your friend says, that means your friend is honest. Please read after me. Honest. Honest means誠實T: If your answers are all Yes. That means you have a very good friend! Step 3. Finish exercise A on page 3T: Now from this quesitonnaire, most students have good friends. Congratulations. Do you remember these qualities of a good friend we just discussed?T: Yes. Lets read them （見 ppt 12）These qualities can make your friends so special.T: Now, Daniel also wants to know these qualities and want to match the qualitieswith some questions in Teenagersmagazine. Please helpl him write the correct letters in the boxes on page 3.T: Have you finished this exercise? Lets check your answers. 見( ppt 13) Part 3 Welcome to the unit part Bstep 1. presentationT: Now we have learned the qualities of a good friend. Here is a table about different qualites of a friend. Discuss these qualities in a group of four and if your friends have the same quality, please put a tick after it. First, lets read these qualities together.clean and tidy, good-looking(好看的 we can use this word for boys and girls), friendly, helpful, polite, honest, musical (be musical means be good at music,愛好音樂的 ), funny and clever.T: Time is up. Lets check what qualities your friend has.Does he/she look clean and tidy? / Is he/she good-looking? Is she/he friendly?/ Isshe/he helpful? / Is she/he polite? / Is he/she honest? / Is she/he funny? / Is she/he clever?T: Ok, these qualities may make your friend bebe clean and tidy/ be good-looking/be friendly/be helpful/ be polite/ be honest/ befunny/ be clever.T: What are the very important qualites of your friend to you? Step 2. finish Exercise BT: please complete the table on page 3 and find what qualities are very important, or quite important. Even these qualities are not important at all.T: Have you finished the exercise? please work in pairs and read you answers to your partner by using these two sentences. First, please translate these following phrases and sentences.見( ppt20)T: Please fill in the blank to complete the sentences(見 ppt 23)小 學(xué) 了本 的內(nèi)容， 同學(xué) 于朋友所具 的各種品 開始有所了解。 知道了朋友的外貌品 ， 個性品 。并且通 于 些品 的學(xué) 加深了 自己朋友的了解。Part 5Homework ( 見 ppt25)第三部分說明這節(jié)課是 Unit 1 friends 的第一課時welcome to the unit and comic strip.這一課時是整個單元的導(dǎo)入部分，目的在于激發(fā)學(xué)生對學(xué)習(xí)本單元的興趣。在這一課時中從Eddie 和 Hobo對話的結(jié)尾處為導(dǎo)入本單元及本課時的話題起到了一個輔墊，引出做為朋友的好的品質(zhì)。在接下來的 welcome to the unit 中通過 partA 與 part B 的練習(xí)加深了學(xué)生對朋友品質(zhì)的了解和看法，為后面的學(xué)習(xí)開了個好頭在教授本課時中可以采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)， 利用師生對話， 學(xué)生小組活動對本單元涉及到有關(guān)朋友間品質(zhì)的單詞與詞組進行有效教學(xué)與鞏固練習(xí)
