英語新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)倡導(dǎo)任務(wù)型的教學(xué)模式,讓學(xué)生在教師的指導(dǎo)下,通過感知,體驗(yàn)。實(shí)踐,參與和合作等方式,實(shí)現(xiàn)任務(wù)的目標(biāo),感受成功。在學(xué)習(xí)過程中進(jìn)行情感和策略調(diào)整,以形成積極的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度,促進(jìn)語言實(shí)際運(yùn)用能力的提高。這就要求教師能根據(jù)學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容設(shè)計相應(yīng)的活動,讓學(xué)生在體驗(yàn)中掌握語言知識,學(xué)會運(yùn)用語言,培養(yǎng)各種技能。本課時的中心話題是“急救”,包括急救的重要性,急救的基本常識以及急救的具體步驟(DR ABC)。由于所學(xué)內(nèi)容接近生活,實(shí)用性和操作性強(qiáng),因此在教學(xué)過程中創(chuàng)設(shè)實(shí)際教學(xué)情景,布置任務(wù),讓學(xué)生在理解文章內(nèi)容的基礎(chǔ)上,針對生活中常見的各種緊急情況, 運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識實(shí)施緊急救護(hù)。 通過實(shí)踐和參與, 掌握本課時的語言技能,語言知識,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生處理緊急事件的應(yīng)變能力和操作能力,實(shí)現(xiàn)英語新課程的教學(xué)目標(biāo)。
教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析:
本課時的中心話題是意外情況下的急救知識。具體涉及關(guān)于急救的重要性,急救的基本常識以及急救的具體步驟(DR ABC)。 通過本課時的教學(xué),讓學(xué)生了解有關(guān)急救的常識,能在對文章理解的基礎(chǔ)上,用較為流利的英語表達(dá)在生活中如何處理一些突發(fā)事件,學(xué)會在實(shí)際情況中實(shí)施正確的緊急救護(hù)等
教學(xué)內(nèi)容分為四個部分。
1. “讀前”(Pre-reading)部分先以四幅圖片來導(dǎo)入新課,讓學(xué)生針對這些圖片思考一些問題,你會怎么辦?該怎么辦?
2. “閱讀”(Reading)部分是一篇介紹急救的文章,標(biāo)題是DR ABC, 具體介紹急救的重要性,如何進(jìn)行急救,急救時注意DR ABC:D代表Danger(危險);R代表response(反應(yīng));A代表Airway(呼吸道);B代表Breathing(呼吸);C代表Circulation(血液循環(huán)),以及如何進(jìn)一步急救等一些急救基本常識和步驟,使學(xué)生理解急救對病人的重要性及基本的急救知識,以便他們運(yùn)用于生活實(shí)際。
3. “讀后”(Post-reading)分三個任務(wù)。
Task 1.True or False 加強(qiáng)對文章內(nèi)容的理解;
Task 2. Describe pictures 加強(qiáng)語言知識的運(yùn)用;
Task 3.Discussion 鞏固所學(xué)知識,培養(yǎng)實(shí)際操作技能;
4. “活動”(Activity) 部分是開展一個競賽“A First Aid Quiz”,并給予勝利者獎勵,擴(kuò)充范圍,更多的學(xué)習(xí)急救知識。
教學(xué)目標(biāo):
根據(jù)《普通高中英語新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》(實(shí)驗(yàn)稿)關(guān)于總目表的定位及其實(shí)現(xiàn)途徑和目標(biāo)具體描述,結(jié)合高二學(xué)生實(shí)際和教材內(nèi)容,我把本課時的教學(xué)目標(biāo)定為:
1.語言知識
1)掌握、理解、運(yùn)用以下生詞及詞組:witness、panic、roll over、deal with、keep in mind、manage、manage to等
2)正確復(fù)述急救步驟(DR ABC)
2.語言技能:
讀:能理解課文內(nèi)容和課文結(jié)構(gòu),在閱讀中運(yùn)用scanning, skimming, generalization, inference等具體細(xì)節(jié)的讀寫策略和技能。
說:能在對文章理解的基礎(chǔ)上,用較為流利的英語表達(dá)在生活中如何處理一些突發(fā)事件,學(xué)會在實(shí)際情況中實(shí)施正確的緊急救護(hù)等
3.學(xué)習(xí)策略
學(xué)生能在一定程度上形成自主學(xué)習(xí)、有效交際和信息處理英語思維能力。
4.情感策略
讓學(xué)生了解急救的重要性和常用方法,能準(zhǔn)確的運(yùn)用于實(shí)際生活, 增強(qiáng)學(xué)生幫助他人,拯救生命的意識;體驗(yàn)用英語交流的成功與喜悅,以及培養(yǎng)合作精神、互助精神。
教學(xué)方法:
教師安排學(xué)生快讀和查讀,理解課文含義;通過閱讀, 小組討論,提問,口語練習(xí),復(fù)述,實(shí)際運(yùn)用等掌握急救步驟。
教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備:
制作課件、準(zhǔn)備topic cards、預(yù)備獎賞(糖果)、錄音機(jī)
教學(xué)過程設(shè)計:
Step Ⅰ.Greetings and Revision
Greet the whole class as usual. Teacher checks the students homework.

Scan the text and divide the passage into several parts then find out the main idea for each part.
Part 1(1): the meaning of DR ABC
Part 2(2): something should be done after giving first aid
Part 3(3-4): the importance of staying calm
Part 4(5): the importance of first aid
Part 5(6): giving first aid after checking DR ABC
