Tony, could you please help out with a few things? 托尼，你能幫忙做幾件事嗎？ help out (with something) 是一個(gè)動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)， 表示在某人繁忙或是遇到困難時(shí)“給予幫助”。 再如本單元中這句話(huà)： You watch TV all the time and never help out around the house! 你老是看電視，從不幫忙干家務(wù)。 另外help 與out 之間還可以加具體的人，如：Can you help me out? 你能幫我一把嗎？ They helped (us) out with the clean-up. 他們幫助我們做大掃除。 2. because Mom will be back from shopping any minute now. 因?yàn)閶寢岆S時(shí)都會(huì)買(mǎi)完?yáng)|西回來(lái)。any minute now 是一種常見(jiàn)口語(yǔ)表達(dá)，相當(dāng)于“隨時(shí)；馬上；在任何時(shí)候”的意思，minute 還可替換為“second, moment, time等。e.g. we are expecting them any moment now. 我們期待他們隨時(shí)到來(lái)。 3. “What happened?” she asked in surprise. 他驚訝的問(wèn)道：“發(fā)生什么事情了？”介詞短語(yǔ) in surprise 表示狀態(tài)，意思是“吃驚 地， 驚訝地”。 再如: she looked at me in great surprise and asked for a long while, “Dont you just leave for Australia this morning?”他極其驚訝的看著我，好久才問(wèn)道: “ 你不是盡早才離開(kāi)去澳大利亞了嗎？” Summary 1.
