Teachers give the Ss a couple of minutes to look through the whole passage. Tell the Ss to read the text silently and then ask some detail questions about the text onthe slide show with their partners. Teachers encourage the Ss to express their ideas.T: Now we are going to learn a passage about some bands. Read the passage quickly and find out the answers to the two questions here. Show the questions on the screen.1. What are the benefits if students form a band to play in the street?2. When did “The Monkees” break up and when did it reunite?3.
