Grade 5 Unit 2 My Favourite Season 一、教學內容:第一課時 Lets start Lets chant A Lets learn Lets find out二、教學目標: 1、知識目標:學習單詞season, spring, summer, fall, winter。并使用句型:“Whats your favorite season ?”和“ Whats the weather like in ?”進行提問,并能根據實際情況回答。2、能力目標:培養(yǎng)學生運用英語進行交流的能力。 3、情感目標:培養(yǎng)學生小組合作意識,并培養(yǎng)學生善于觀察生活、善于總結歸納的良好習慣,同時讓學生珍惜時間努力學習。三、教學重難點:教學重點:1、學習單詞:season, spring, summer, fall, winter。2、句型:“Whats your favorite season ?和“ Whats the weather like in.?”及其回答。教學難點:聽、說、讀、寫單詞spring, summer, fall, winter和season。四、教學準備:錄音機、配套VCD課件、單詞卡片、圖畫。五、教學過程Step 1: Warm up 1、教師播放四年級下冊第四單元A部分lets chant 的錄音,復習有關天氣的形容詞,把全班分成左右兩部分,左右對唱,根據該形容詞做出相應的動作。 Mum! Its warm today! Take off your jacket! Phew!Its hot today! Put on your T-shirt! Oooh! Its cool today! Put on your sweater! Brrr! Its cold today! Put on your coat!Step 2: RevisionLead in 出示各種飲料、食物、顏色等圖片,以問答的方式復習句型“Whats your favourite?” My favourite is.教師繼續(xù)問:Whats the weather like today?學生回答:Its warm教師呈現(xiàn)四季圖片問:Whats the weather like in this picture?And what about this one?教師將學生的回答有意識地分成四季進行板書,并將圖片貼在相應的位置上。Step 3: PresentationTo show a word “weather” and play a brainstorm to guide the new words: spring, summer, fall, winter and season.由weather引導學生說出各種天氣的單詞,然后引出4個季節(jié)的單詞,教師把學生的回答形成板書。最后教師總結There are four seasons in a year:spring,summer,fall ,and winter并將season板書。 Step 4: Consolidation 1學唱Lets sing “Whats your favourite season?”鞏固單詞認讀。 讓學生先聽兩遍錄音,說說他們聽到的歌詞,然后跟著錄音唱。分小組唱、兩人唱、獨唱等形式,比一比誰唱得好。2.Great shooter.教師將五張生詞卡片分別貼在教室的各個位置,教師說某個單詞,學生快速地用手指向該單詞并大聲讀兩遍。3. Play cards教師事先讓學生準備好2套本課時的單詞卡,四人小組以“蓋棉被”的游戲,認讀單詞,在規(guī)定的時間內,看誰手上的牌最少誰就贏。 Step 5: Extension Lets find out 1教師問Whats your favourite season? 根據學生的回答追問Whats the weather 1ike in?讓學生描述。 2T:Now can you draw the trees in springsummerfallwinter? Game:快樂對對碰。(教師準備小箱子,里面裝著四個季節(jié)的卡片,教師請兩位同學,一位學生抽出卡片,并讀出單詞,另一位同學要說出這個季節(jié)的天氣:Its .)教師板書:Spring. Its windy and warm. Summer. Its sunny and hot. 2. In winter ,we can skate and make a snowman.教授單詞swim,詞組make a snowman和 skate。2.Play a game: ,youre mine.教師請2位同學上講臺,猜拳說“skate, skate, youre mine”,誰猜贏了誰得1分,三個單詞下來看誰猜的多誰就贏。之后教師讓臺下的同學以同樣的方式同桌進行猜拳。3.“一口氣”游戲引出fly kites教師出示skate, make a snowman和swim單詞卡,然后教師出示其中的一個單詞卡,學生必須一口氣讀這個單詞,也就是中間不換氣,看能說多少遍單詞,一口氣說得最多的學生獲勝,然后教師出示fly kites的單詞和圖片,讓學生一口氣讀。4. 出示圖片tree,然后放一只猴子在爬樹,引出climb trees,接著出示春天的圖片,its spring now, lets plant trees together,引出plant trees.(每教一個單詞時,會用句子Whats your favourite season?/Which season do you like best?
