To get the students to have some knowledge of places of interest in China 2. To help the students to know the basic elements of introducing a place by learning the text. Ⅱ. Ability objectives: 1. To develop the reading skills of prediction, skimming and scanning 2. To get the students to improve their spoken English by helping them to use the basic elements of introducing a place. Language focus and difficult points: 1. To learn some detailed information about the Great Wall, the Shanghai Museum and Li River Teaching procedures: Step 1: Warm-up: Free talk Lead –in: plete the dialogue Step2. Before-listening聽(tīng)前要審題,明要求,做預(yù)測(cè) Read the information on P20 and answer the questions Step3. While-listening A.聽(tīng)力過(guò)程中做好筆記,我們要特別留意約會(huì)的人,時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)(when and where to meet),甚至約會(huì)的內(nèi)容等,可以簡(jiǎn)單記錄信息再完善答案。 B.Listen and focus on “who” in the dialogues(聽(tīng)力中重點(diǎn)聽(tīng)人名) C.Listening to it again if necessary.
