2019-2020年九年級(jí)英語(yǔ)Unit 3 Teenagers should be allowed to choose their 知識(shí)要點(diǎn)一、知識(shí)點(diǎn)撥 1. I think teenagers should be allowed to go out with their friends. allow (v.) "允許,準(zhǔn)許"的意思。其用法如下: (1)allow+賓語(yǔ)+to do sth. My parents allow me to go shopping on Sunday. (2)be allowed to do sth(是第一種用法的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)形式)例如: Students arent allowed to smoke 學(xué)生不準(zhǔn)吸煙。 Dont allow talking in the reading room 閱覽室內(nèi)不準(zhǔn)說(shuō)話。 2.Sixteen-year-olds should be allowed to drive. He just got his drivers license drive v.“駕駛;駕車(chē)”的意思。 教書(shū) teacher n教師 work v工作 worker n工人 clean v. 3:They talk instead of doing homework (1)instead of短語(yǔ)介詞,“代替而不是” 的意思,后跟名詞或代詞。 My sister will do some shopping instead of me. He stayed at school instead“going home 他呆在學(xué)校不回家。 (2)instead (adv.)“代替”的意思,置于句末。If you cant do that,Ill do it instead如果你不能做那件事,我替你做吧。二、Culture note1. Parents in different cultures feel very differently about what their children should and should not be allowed to do. In the United States some teenagers are given a lot of freedom at an early age. This doesnt mean that their parents dont care what happens to their children. It means that the culture thinks it is important for teenagers to learn to be independent. 三、Activity and Probe Game 1: Bingo Goal: To provide an oral review of key vocabulary words in units 13. Procedure: Have students open their books on page 130. Focus attention on the Word Box on page 131. Ask students to read aloud the words and expressions and find out the meanings of any words or expressions they dont know. They can do this by reviewing the lessons, asking the teacher, asking classmates or using a dictionary. Set a time limit of two minutes for students to read the instructions. Put students into two or more teams. Say, Please choose sixteen words or expressions from the Word Box and write them in the boxes on page 130. Then the teacher calls out words and expressions from the Word Box. Ask students to circle the words and expressions his or her team has. When someone has four in a row, calls out, Bingo! Then quickly give a correct sentence for each word and expression in the row. Each correct Bingo gets that team a point. The team with the most points wins.
