Unit 1 How Tall Are You? 教學設計【教材分析】六年級的學生正是好奇心極強的時候,對恐龍十分感興趣,這課就是以談論恐龍開篇的,所以我在課件中多加了幾張恐龍動畫片,把重點句型和詞匯讓恐龍說出來。接著教材又用薩拉詢問埃米她穿多大號的鞋,這是學生日常生活中常見的?!緦W生分析】我所帶的兩個六年班,學生整體素質(zhì)二班比一班強一些,根底薄弱是這兩個班學生的共同之處,鑒于這一課開始學習比擬級和最高級難度大,我準備這樣設計教學環(huán)節(jié)和教學方法,完全讓學生自己操作,多準備幾個尺子和小稱,親自測量,把重點句型使用多媒體反復播放。【教學內(nèi)容】中心話題:詢問身邊的人或事物的年齡、身高、重量及長度并做比擬。語言功能:能夠運用目標語進行身體或事物高矮、大小、重輕、長短進行描述和問答。語言結(jié)構(gòu):一、句型:1.Thats the tallest dinosaur in this hall.2.Its taller than both of us together.3.How tall are you?Im 1.65 metres.4.What size are your shoes, Mike?5.Your feet are bigger than mine. Ha! 然后引導學生戴上頭飾和別的動物比一比。2.Lets play,由小動物比賽轉(zhuǎn)動學生間的相互比賽,如:My arms are longer than yours. 教師出示板書,告訴學生 yours等于your加上一個前面出現(xiàn)過的名詞。3.活動:動物園里的小小講解員。課件出現(xiàn)動物園場景,聘請學生當小小講解員,如:The elephant is strong, his nose is longer. 以此到達操練句型、運用句型的目的。c.任務后教學作業(yè)HomeworkTask time Measure the room, the bed and the table at home, present measurements next class.教學反思在上詞匯課的時候,考慮到所任教學科的學科特點及高年級小學生的性格特點,那么更有必要對自己的課堂陳述進行反思。因此,我理當應盡可能地反思自己的課堂陳述,掌握優(yōu)美的英語語音語調(diào),形成親切得體的教姿教態(tài),提升自己的教學風格和教學魅力。第五課時Part B Read and write / Lets check/ Lets wrap it up一、教學目標 1.四會掌握主要句型:How heavy are you? Im 48 kg. Im thinner than you, and shorter. 2.能聽懂并完成Lets try局部的練習. 3.初步了解重量、長度單位的英語表達形式并能在實際生活中運用。 4.學中用,用中學,培養(yǎng)學生養(yǎng)成運用英語解決問題的好習慣。二、教學重難點分析1.本課的重點是學會正確詢問體重并根據(jù)答復作出討論,涉及的句型是:How heavy are you?Im _ kg. Im thinner and shorterthan you.2.難點:根據(jù)實際情況靈活運用How tall/long/heavy. are you?能正確運用長度和重量單位。三、教學準備1.課前準備錄音機磁帶。2.教師準備本課時所需的表格。3.自制教學學要的圖片多媒體課件。四、教學過程Step 1Warm up1.Free talk: Hi, how are you? Step 5 Good to know.1.多媒體出示長度和重量單位,使學生理解各單位的含義,教師給予一定的說明補充。2.指導學生朗讀并完成課本Good to know局部的練習。Step 6Consolidation完成活動手冊的配套練習課后反思授課初期我感到我時時在經(jīng)歷這樣的反思過程。以課堂教學方式的反思為例。最初,為了讓學生更好地掌握上課內(nèi)容。課堂上,我讓他們反復地跟讀操練課文中的對話和句型,一段時間后,我發(fā)現(xiàn)學生們開始失去了熱情。上課時,我口干舌燥地教,而他們意興闌珊地讀。我很困惑,是我的教學有問題,還是小學六年級學生的心理特點決定的呢?在很多的英語教學雜志和教學錄象中,我看到了不同于我的課堂教學的實例以及由此產(chǎn)生的不同的教學效果。教育部提出的素質(zhì)教育的大方向更是引發(fā)了一場關于英語教學的大討論。我想此時,我是在經(jīng)歷了反思最為重要的兩個階段具體經(jīng)驗和觀察分析。之后,我將自己反思的結(jié)果一點一點地運用在我的課堂教學中,我采用游戲法.競賽法,設計活動課,逐步放開,讓學生主動地參與到興趣盎然的課堂中來。我發(fā)現(xiàn),游戲的參加與活動的增多,非但沒有使教學進度滯后,反而因?qū)W生參與程度的提高而提高了教學效率和教學效果。第六課時Part CStory time一、教學目標1.在互相合作的根底上培養(yǎng)學生的閱讀能力,能夠?qū)Σ煌瑐€體之間的差異進行比擬。2.理解Story time的故事內(nèi)容,了解個體差異的優(yōu)缺點,培養(yǎng)學生的自信心。二、教學重難點分析重點:理解短文內(nèi)容,并能完成相應的練習。難點:培養(yǎng)學生一定的閱讀能力和良好的閱讀習慣。三、課前準備錄音機、多張圖片、表格四、教學步驟及建議Step 1Warm-up and revision1.聽聽做做教師引導學生做Lets do (Book 2 Unit 6 P61)2.活動:星星閃閃課前先在黑板上貼上五顆大星星教師先自我介紹:Im 160 cm tall. How tall are you?引導一個學生答復,并將兩個數(shù)據(jù)放入星星中由第三個學生進行比擬答復:A is _than B.其他四個星星用同一種方法進行比擬討論身高和體重等。3.編歌謠,說唱多媒體出示Im tall tall taller than you.Step 2Preview做游戲,Guess, whats my favourite animal?讓學生描述他們喜歡的動物,引導他們這么說:Its my favourite animal. Its . cm tall. Its tail is . cm long. It likes to eat . It can . Guess, whats this?Step 3Presentation1.設置情境:教師帶著學生去海洋館多媒體出示Teacher: Today I will take you to the Ocean Museum. Do you know, whats the biggest animal in the world? 引出單詞whale.多媒體出示,從兩邊游出兩頭鯨魚。Teacher: The left whale is sperm whale, the right one is killer whale.Teacher: How heavy is the sperm whale? 課件展示,引出重量單位ton。Ask: How long is it? How long is its tail? 教師可通過longer/shorter來幫助學生猜。課件展示sperm whale的牙齒,問: How many teeth? How long is its tooth?再通過課件展示很多動物,問: Whats its favourite food?讓學生來進行選擇,從而引出單詞squid, lobsters和small shark。Then ask: What can it do? (It can swim/dive.)老師通過課件圖片介紹killer whale。做游戲,開心辭典,分組搶答。如:Which is longer, sperm whale or killer whale?How long is sperm whale/killer whale?Which is heavier, sperm whale or killer whale?How many teeth does the sperm whale/killer whale have?What can the sperm whale/killer whale do? Etc.2.完成短文后的練習,分組討論,說說兩頭鯨魚的不同。3.火眼金睛看圖片,比一比,說一說。Step 4 Consolidation1.活動:順風耳、千里眼多媒體出示 非洲象和亞洲象看圖,聽短文,填寫表格Height Weight Teeth Food Teeth Tail聽完后小組討論匯報。2.Story time (1)聽錄音排列圖片。(2)討論問題:Why do they need Bear to be the goalkeeper?(3)讀一讀,演一演。教學反思托爾斯泰說:“成功的教學所需要的不是強制而是激發(fā)學生的興趣?!芭d趣是最好的老師。愿孩子們學習英語的興趣之花在小學英語課堂上更加美麗的綻放。小學生愛夢想,興趣廣泛,對新事物最敏感,也易接受,根據(jù)教材內(nèi)容結(jié)合實際創(chuàng)造更真實的交際環(huán)境,對激發(fā)學生學習興趣、增強教學效果尤為重要。在課堂教學時,我們把學生既感興趣、又是日常生活當中常見的英語詞匯帶入課堂語言訓練當中,既激發(fā)了學生的學習興趣,開闊了他們的視野,又增強了教學的情景性、直觀性,從而提高了教學效果。單元教學反思經(jīng)過一個單元的教學,調(diào)整了心情,覺得英語教學是鍛煉自身素質(zhì)和育人領悟的過程,更需要平時對學生進行評價,因為在新課程理念的指導下,新型的師生關系、評價觀已成為教師不可無視的一局部。在開學的這一段時間內(nèi)我注意到用新的評價理念來教育、評價學生。一、讓學生看到自己的每一次的進步。當六年級的孩子最后一學期拿起PEP小學英語的教科書時,我就為每個孩子準備個成長的記錄帶。把學生的每一個精彩的點滴都收入囊中,讓孩子充分感受成功的喜悅,成長的快樂。并寫入評語中去,讓他們明白學習英語成功的標志不是高分,而是每次戰(zhàn)勝自我的挑戰(zhàn)。二、關注日常學習生活及時發(fā)現(xiàn)學生的每個閃光點。當我發(fā)現(xiàn)孩子每一個小小的進步時,在班上我都大力表揚,尤其是在我班里覺得自己很難跟得上的學生。我們班上有這樣很頑皮的學生,上課只知道動手,不動口。有一次,我驚奇的發(fā)現(xiàn),他竟然舉起了他的手,大聲地朗讀出單詞。盡管他的聲音被同學所蓋過,但是我還是請同學們安靜下來,讓他單獨地在讀一邊,并獎勵他一個顆“星星??上驳氖?,我看到他的笑臉上,充滿了成功的驚奇和喜悅。我想這是我悟出老師可以有方法來幫助自己的學生。三、不以成績論“英雄。我常常對我的學生說:不管你的語文或數(shù)學有多好或多壞,在Miss Zhang的眼中,大家都是一樣,都在同一起跑線上。只要你樂于學習英語、認真學習英語,在每次的英語評價都有進步,你就是最棒的!四、以誠心交流童心。在屢次的新課程培訓中,不斷的強調(diào)教師要轉(zhuǎn)變角色。確實,教師不再是“稻草人的角色,使學生望而生畏。如何拉近與學生的距離,給他們以親切感、依賴感呢?我充分利用自己年輕的優(yōu)勢,時時保持一顆永不褪色的童心,以童心交流童,特別是一些在課上不敢發(fā)言的學生,通過網(wǎng)上進行溝通和交流,讓他們能在課外當朋友一樣,說出自己對英語學習上的缺乏,這樣也便于我及時調(diào)整
