Some would suggest that a day would be great if everything they did turned out well, or they got exactly what they needed. On the other hand, have you ever thought that what you may give someone else may be the best day you ever had especially when you put someone else’s well-being or happiness first on your list? There is special warmth available to you and that warmth can e from a helping hand, doing a small favor for a total stranger, or even a smile. I recall a day recently when I had to go to the hospital for an appointment because I wasn’t feeling well and my doctor sent me to a specialist to try and determine the cause. As I drove to the hospital, I admittedly was feeling gloomy and certainly wasn’t on top of my game. As I approached the hospital, I began my search for a parking spot, a spot that was hard to e with everyone else trying to do the same thing. I finally found a spot not too far from the entrance to the hospital. As I got out and brought my change out of my pocket, I noticed a man looking somewhat upset standing in front of a parking meter two cars away. He seemed to be searching his pockets for what I supposed was change for the meter. Although,I really didn’t feel that great, I thought that I should at least go over to him and find out if I could help him. As I approached him, he turned to look at me, feeling at a loss not knowing what to do. I asked him if he had a problem I could help with, and he said, without hesitation, that he had no change at all because he left it in his houseonly thinking about visiting his sick wife. Paragraph 1: Faced with such a situation, I reached into my pocket. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2 : The funny thing was that I felt a lot brighter, and a small smile came to my face. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 2、閱讀下面短文,根據(jù)所給情節(jié)進(jìn)行續(xù)寫,使之構(gòu)成一個(gè)完整的故事。 Have you ever had to overe an extreme challenge in your life? My teenage years had been insane. From schoolwork to athletics, I had always been running around. Everything was so difficult. Throughout my hectic teenage years I have been faced with many extreme challenges that have required extreme focus and hard work to overe. If it hadn’t been for hard work, none of these challenges that I faced would have been conquered. Two years ago, when I was a freshman in high school, I dealt with an extremely significant injury. This took place in my tennis tournament in Januaty. In the climax of my match, I jolted my back to the left andsoon after felt a sharp, painful shock run through my spine. I knew at that difficult moment I seriously injured my back. I was rushed off the court and my parents made an appointment with an orthopedist (矯形外科醫(yī)生) for the next morning. I walked into the office extremely nervous and suffering from excruciating pain. My tennis season for school started in three months and I absolutely needed to build up the strength. After about twenty minutes of waiting in the office, which felt like an eternity, the doctor walked in to examine my X-rays. With a sorrowful face, the doctor looked into mine and my mothers eyes and said, There is a 50/50 chance that Lucas will be able to participate in this yearns tennis season. Lucas broke his L5 vertebrae in his lower back." My heart dropped and I felt a sadness e over me. The doctor said that I would be sitting out of physical activity for two and a half to three months. Those three months were the longest three months of my life. I was so eager to get back to practices for the season.Every day, I would think about how it was going to be when I was fully healthy. I asked myself, "Am I going to be out of shape? Should I even play this year? I probably wont have a successful season. " From that dreadful day on, I decided thatI was going to put in the work to be back in top form and have a successful season. 注意: 1.所續(xù)寫短文的詞數(shù)應(yīng)為150左右; 2.至少使用5個(gè)短文中標(biāo)有下劃線的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ); 3.續(xù)寫部分分為兩段,每段的開(kāi)頭語(yǔ)已為你寫好; 4.續(xù)寫完成后,請(qǐng)用下劃線標(biāo)出你所使用的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ)。 Paragraph 1: AfterI got the "all clear" from my orthopedist l was going to get to work. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Paragraph 2 : My hard work proved to be very effective. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 3、閱讀下面短文,根據(jù)所給情節(jié)進(jìn)行續(xù)寫,使之構(gòu)成一個(gè)完整的故事。 Jamie ran out of his house along the street toward his building. The abandoned buildings there were his playground. Jamie moved a wooden board from the door to one of the buildings. He crawled inside. There was broken glass on the floor. Jamie went down the stairs to the basement. It was even darker down there, and damp. The buildings were near the river. Sometimes water flooded in. Hed never found anything aliveuntil he found Sharon. “Sharon, I’m here!” Jamie called. “I brought a candle, too. Im going to light it so I can see you better." Jamie took out a match and lit the candle. A soft circle of light lit up the darkness. “e over here where I can see you,” Jamie said. “Please don’t be afraid. I’m not afraid. I told you that.” The creature slithered (滑行) into the light. It was about Jamie’s size. Its head and body were covered with dark green scales(鱗片). In the light of the candle, the scales shone like diamonds. The creature’s eyes glowed red, suddenly, like hot coals. Its nostrils (鼻孔) flared, giving off heat. Jamie stared. He thought he had never seen anything so beautiful. That’s why he’d decided to call the creature Sharon. He wanted to give a beautiful name to hisnew pet. “Gee, Sharon,” he said, “I wish you could talk. I don’t know if you understand me or not. And I,d really like you to tell me how you got here. The creature didn’t answer. It just looked at Jamie. Its mouth opened slightly and something white gleamed. Jamiethought it was smiling. “Well,” said Jamie,"I hope you’re hungry. I brought you a chicken sandwich.” The creature looked down at the sandwich, thinking about something else, but made no move to eat it. “Ill just leave the food here for you," Jamie sighed. “I wish I could stay. They joked that some day they would find a talking fish or a mermaid or a bottle with a treasure map inside. So far they had only found shells and rocks and seaweed. Today was different though. The boys felt excited. Sea crabs scampered on the rocks, up one side and down the other. They were quick and lively. The tide didnt seem to ever wash them away. Then Tommy saw a fish. It was trapped on the beach, just flopping around. "Can it talk? Mickle asked. “It looks like any other fish,” Tommy said. He picked it up gently and carried it to the water. “Do you think it will grant us any wishes?" Mickle laughed. The boys watched as the silver fish sped off through the water. “No. Maybe next time”, Tommy grinned. As the two friends walked farther down the beach they came upon a bottle. It was green with a cork in the mouth. “Our luck will change. Does it have a map or a genie inside?”Mickle joked. Mickle reached down and picked up the bottle. He rubbed it. Nothing happened. He pulled on the cork. Nothing happened. He shook it. Nothing happened. “Try the cork again. I bet the genie is waiting for us to release him. Or well find a treasure map and have a real adventure, Tommy exclaimed. Mickle tugged again on the cork. He wiggled it back and forth. He twisted it around and around. Finally it popped out without breaking. Mickle shook the bottle. Nothing came out. Looking inside he couldn,t see anything. Tommy looked too and shook his head. Empty. “ It’s just an old wine bottle,” Tommy plained. He grabbed the bottle and tossed it back onto the sand. 注意: 1.所續(xù)寫短文的詞數(shù)應(yīng)為150左右; 2.至少使用5個(gè)短文中標(biāo)有下劃線的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ); 3.續(xù)寫部分分為兩段,每段的開(kāi)頭語(yǔ)已為你寫好; 4.續(xù)寫完成后,請(qǐng)用下劃線標(biāo)出你所使用的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ)。 Paragraph 1: The bottle hit a rock and shattered into many pieces. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Paragraph 2 : The two boys ran after it. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 5、閱讀下面短文,根據(jù)所給情節(jié)進(jìn)行續(xù)寫,使之構(gòu)成一個(gè)完整的故事。 One day when she and her mother were checking out at the grocery store, Jenny saw a plastic pearl necklace priced at $2.50. She wanted that necklace so much. When she asked her mother if she would buy it for her, her mother agreed. She said, “Well,it is a pretty necklace, but it costs an awful lot of money. I’ll buy you the necklace, and when we get home we can make a list of chores that you can do to pay for the necklace. " Jenny agreed happily, and never gave up the chance. So her mother bought the pearl necklace for her. Jenny worked on her chores very hard every day. Soon Jenny paid off the pearl necklace which she loved very much. At the same time, she wore it to kindergarten, bed and even when she went out with her mother to run errands (差使)? The only time she didn’t wear it was in the shower. Her mother had told her that would turn her neck green! Jenny had a very loving daddy. When Jenny went to bed, he would get up from his favorite chair every night and read Jenny her favorite story. I frowned, afraid of the pain of that experience. My dad sent me for some tissues and I imagined them soaking up liters of blood from my mouth. I closed my eyes and strengthened myself. I was still waiting for him to pull when I heard my father say, “I’m done.” I opened my eyes and saw my tooth in his tissue-covered hand. I hadn’t felt anything, and there was just a bit of blood on the tissues. I thought my father was a magician. The next day at school I bragged to a friend about my father’s wonderful skill. When I explained that the process didnt hurt, my friend called me a liar. He said that when his tooth was pulled, it had hurt a lot. I talked to my father about this and there was not a single mystery left after my father’s explanation: my tooth had been ready to be removed, while my friend’s had not. “I’m going to be a dentist,’’ I declared. I wanted to follow in the professional footsteps of my father, my uncle and grandmother. My father supported my ambition, honoring my interest in his profession even when I was young. He always encouraged me, saying, “To achieve your goal, you should always be devoting hard work and effort to it.” I didn’t need to visit my father’s office as a child because I had few cavities. As I entered the elementary school and began eating more candy, however,I visited more often. I didn’t mind, though. I was the only kid I knew who was excited aboutgoing to the dentist. After my father worked on my teeth,he let me hang around. And I was amazed as he operated plicated machines, leaning over patients’ mouths with a tiny mirror strapped to his head. 注意: 1.所續(xù)寫短文的詞數(shù)應(yīng)為150左右; 2.至少使用5個(gè)短文中標(biāo)有下劃線的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ); 3.續(xù)寫部分分為兩段,每段的開(kāi)頭語(yǔ)已為你寫好; 4.續(xù)寫完成后,請(qǐng)用下劃線標(biāo)出你所使用的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ)。 Paragraph 1: Once, when my dad was pulling my mothers teeth, he even let me clear her mouth. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Paragraph 2 : Years later, the dream of a child has not declined but actually grown firmer. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 7、閱讀下面短文,根據(jù)所給情節(jié)進(jìn)行續(xù)寫,使之構(gòu)成一個(gè)完整的故事。 Throughout life, we e across many people who impact us in a way. Their impact can be for a day or for a lifetime. Its mon not to recognize the impact someone has left on you until a certain moment. The person who left a great impact on me is my dad. Three months after turning fourteen, my life was great. I was getting settled into a high school; my grades were already starting off greatly and I was making friends. One day as I came home from school, I walked into our living room, finding my mom and dad talking. My parents turned to me and told me to sit down because there was something important they had to tell me. I soon found out that my dad’s liver was failing and he needed an immediate transplant. I was shocked and confused because my dad seemed fine. He was working and never looked sick. My parents told me not to worry because everything would be fine. Four months had passed and my dad still had not received a new liver;he was progressively getting worse. His body seemed to be getting weaker, but he constantly said he was fine. It was getting hard for my family and me. My dad had to quit his job leaving my mom to be the only provider. I had to take on the responsibility of cleaning the house, cooking meals and checking on my dad while my mom was at work. I had to cut back on hanging with my friends because my dad was beginning to go in and out of the hospital. My focus for school was starting to slip. So were my grades. Two nights before my school spring break, my mom received a call from the hospital that my dad had been in a car accident and that he was in hospital. Surprisingly, my dad hadn’t received a scratch on him. Then next night my mom received a call from the doctor stating that there was a liver that matched my dad’s body and that he needed to get to the hospital immediately. 注意: 1.所續(xù)寫短文的詞數(shù)應(yīng)為150左右; 2.至少使用5個(gè)短文中標(biāo)有下劃線的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ); 3.續(xù)寫部分分為兩段,每段的開(kāi)頭語(yǔ)已為你寫好; 4.續(xù)寫完成后,請(qǐng)用下劃線標(biāo)出你所使用的關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ)。 Paragraph 1: My family andI rushed to the hospital and my dad teas admitted and brought into surgery . ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Paragraph 2: Having to take on so many responsibilities at home, still man- 1.請(qǐng)仔細(xì)閱讀文檔,確保文檔完整性,對(duì)于不預(yù)覽、不比對(duì)內(nèi)容而直接下載帶來(lái)的問(wèn)題本站不予受理。
