1、 Unit 6 Our Local Area Topic 1 There is a study next to my bedroom. Section A I. Material analysis 本單元圍繞Our Local Area主題展開,共包括三個話題,通過Kangkang, Jane, Maria, Michael等人談論相關房間、居住環(huán)境和問路的對話以及短文,完成本單元三個話題的語音、詞匯、語法和功能項目的學習。話題一將介紹屋內房間的名稱與位置、常見的屋內擺設的名稱和擺放位置等。本課是話題一的第一課時。本課的主要活動是1a, 2a和4a。 II. Teaching a

2、ims 1.Knowledge aims 能根據已學語音、音標及發(fā)音規(guī)則,準確朗讀下列詞匯和短語并在實際的 對話操練中加以應用: beautiful, garden, bedroom, second, floor, and so on, upstairs, kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, first 能夠在小組合作活動中,掌握字母組合i+nd/ld, igh, -ing, l/ll, m/mn的發(fā)音規(guī)則并嘗試辨音; 能夠在情景對話中用there be句型描述屋內房間及基本擺

3、設等; 能準確使用方位介詞和介詞短語on,next to等; 能夠就“存有、建議”等交際功能的基本法實行交流與對話操練,如: (1) There is a study next to my bedroom. (2) There is a sofa, a desk, some books and so on. (3) There is/are … on the first/second floor. (4) —Why not go upstairs and have a look? —Let’s go. .

4、.. 2.Skill aims 能聽懂談論房間、室內擺設的表達,并做出恰當回應; 能就房間、室內擺設實行簡單的交流; 能在口頭表達中做到發(fā)音清晰,語音語調準確; 3.Emotional aims 能在學習的同時,熱愛自己的生活環(huán)境; 能夠與同伴積極合作,參與課堂活動,大膽實踐。 III. The key points and difficult points 1.能夠在情景對話中,學會用there be句型描述各個房間及屋內基本擺設。 2.在小組合作活動中,能掌握字母或字母組合i+nd/ld, igh, -ing, l/ll, m/mn的發(fā)音規(guī)

11、ividual work and pair work. 3.Individual work and the whole class work. 1.Do 2a. Look at the flashcards of 2a. Learn the new words about the rooms in homes. T: Look at the picture. What can you see? Ss: Trees, house, sun, garden... T: Yes. There is a beautiful

12、 garden in the picture. There is a kitchen, a dinning room, a living room and a bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms and a study. ... 2. Do 2a & 2b. Listen to the tape of 2a and match the words or phrases with the pictures in 2a individually. Then check your ans

13、wers with your partner. After that, make up new sentences according to the picture in 2a, using “there be” structure. e.g. There is a study on the second floor. There is a beautiful garden in the picture. ... 3. Do 1b. Look at the picture in 1a. Answer the questions, “What can you see in the pi

14、cture?”, “Do you like the house?”, “What are they doing?” Then listen to the tape to check your answers. Listen again and choose the correct answer in 1b. 1.Present new words about the rooms in homes with the help of the flashcards and the new sentence structure—“there be”. 2

15、.Help the students go on learning the new words about the rooms in homes and the new sentence structure. 3.Help the students go on learning the words about the furniture and home items. Consolidation (10 minutes) Individual work and pair work. Listen to the tape

Discuss in groups and find the rules of sounds about i+nd/ld, igh, -ing, l/ll, m/mn by yourselves. Then one student in each group reads out the sound and teaches the sound to the wh

20、ole class. And the whole class listen to the tape recorder and check the sounds. Finally, read the sounds and words aloud after the tape. 4. Do 4b. Read the sentences in 4b. Guess the answers. Then listen to the tape and check your answers. After that, check your answers with your partner. The whol

Teaching reflection: 在本課中,學生學會了用there be句型來描述書本上以及自己家的房間,并能夠表達、談論自己最喜歡的房間。此外,本課還學習了i+nd/ld, igh, -ing, l/ll, m/mn的發(fā)音規(guī)律并嘗試辨音。本課的生詞量比較大,部分學生沒辦法當堂掌握并熟練運用這些表示房間的詞匯,因此教師應當多關注學困生,在他們學習的過程中,給予更
