5、 fire warning gauge on the board. T: This is a fire warning. The fire danger is low/high/extreme. What is the fire warning? 2.Introduce:cigarettes,camp-fire, barbecue, helicopter by showing pictures. T: What can start a fire? P: ____ can start a fire. Play the recording. Listen and repeat.

6、 Ask students to get into pairs. One student will take on thee role of the TV announcer and the reporter, and the other student will be the fireman. Ask some pairs to role-play in front of the class. T: Where was the fire? What was the fire danger? How long did the firemen fight the fire for?

7、How did the fire start? Give students time to plete the description of the newspaper cutting about the fire in North Country Park.Ask some of the students to read their description to the class.
