2. Uncle Booky’s Blackboard
Tell the children to look at the blackboard on the top of page 6. Model the structures by readin
2、g them aloud to the class.
Have the children repeat the strctures in a class drill. Use all possible combinations.
3. Touch and say
Draw the children’s attention to the pictures at the bottom of the page.Tell them that Mocky had a dream last night and you want them to tell you about his dream
3、 and that they only need to say one sentence for each pictures.
Have the children talk about what illustrated in each picture:Who were in Mocky’s dream? Where were they?
Encourage the children to tell the dream together with you.
4. Read and write
Write the missing words
Have the childre
4、n open their books at page 7. Draw the children’s attention to the letter on the top half of the page. Explain to the children that the letter was writing by a girl called Jane. Jane is staying at a friend’s house and the letter is to her mother. Tell the children that some words are missing from th
5、e letter. The missing words sre in the box at the bottom of the letter.Explain that the words can be used more than once.
Put the children into pairs and have them complete the letter.
At the end of the activity, read the letter aloud together.
Write about Uncle Booky’s dream
Have the chil
6、dren look at the picture in the middle of the page. Ask them to tell what illustrated in the pictures.
Tell them the pictures describe Uncle’s Booky’s dream. Ask the children what the dream is about. Have them tell the dream.
Explain that you want them to write out Uncle Booky’s dream, and the
7、y need to write only one sentence for each picture.
Have children work individually to complete the writing.
Tell the dream
When all the children finished, draw their attention to the instruction at the bottom of the page. Tell the children that you want to tell each other their dreams like the two children on the book. Put the children into pairs and practice. They can also choose to tell Uncle Booky’s dream.
5. Homework
Listen to the tape.
Can tell their dreams or Uncle Booky’s dream.
