He is an imp
6、ortant doctor.(3). a和an 的區(qū)別：a用在輔音音素開頭的單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞前，an用在元音音素開頭的單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞前。(注意：此處的輔音音素和元音音素是指單詞發(fā)的第一個音素，而不是單詞的首字母) 如：a book, a desk, a computer, a European country, a one-year-old boy; an egg, an idea, an apple, an orange, an hour, an 80-meter-long bridge 等。 注意以下幾種情況：注意以下幾種情況： . u的發(fā)音有兩種。發(fā)/jU:/時，單詞前用a; 發(fā)/時,單詞前用

9、前。如：play the (violin, piano, guitar, drum)等。(6). 姓氏復(fù)數(shù)前表某人一家，后謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)。如：The Smiths are watching TV at home now.(7). 和形容詞連用表示某一類人，后謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)。如：The (poor, rich, young, old ) are having lunch now.(8). 方位名詞及身體部位前。如：on the right/left; in the west/east of ; on the nose, in(on) the face等。(9). 名詞后有后置定語(定語從句，介詞
