Play the tape for the students. Give the following questions and let them to find the answers. How was Lisa’s weekend? What did she do? How many kinds of butterflies do they have? What did Lisa tell the visitors? Why is Paul tired?What did he do? (在回答問題的同時,教師可順帶講解本部分出現的新單詞和表達法:Natural History Museum , butterfly,visitor, tired, stayed up all night) Ask the students to read the conversation together. Act out the dialogue. Step 3 Grammar Focus Let the students go through the chart. Ask the students to answer the following questions: 這些特殊疑問詞分別表示什么意思? 這些問句的過去時態(tài)一般要借助哪個助動詞?句中的實義動詞要用什么形式? 這兩個“who”問為何一個需助動詞,一個不需要助動詞。 Discuss the questions in pairs. Read the sentences in the chart again. Step 4 3a 1.Ask the students to fill in the blanks in 3a and check the answers. 2.Ask the students to read the conversation in pairs. Step 5 3b, 3c 1. 讀文章猜測生詞的意思,如猜不出,教師給一些提示 2. Go through the words in the box and ask the students to write the past tense form of the verbs. 3. Ask the students to fill in the chart in 3b. 4.
